Clinical Interests

Dr John Gioulekas has broad experience across general ophthalmology, with particular clinical interests in cataract surgery, glaucoma management, medical retina, and laser-based treatments. His approach emphasizes evidence-based care, clear communication, and collaborative decision-making tailored to each patient’s needs.

The areas outlined below reflect key aspects of his clinical practice.

Evaluation and management of anterior segment disorders, including corneal and lens-related conditions, eyelid pathology, and post-surgical care.

Laser Procedures

A range of ophthalmic laser procedures are performed in the clinic setting where appropriate, including:

  • Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT)
  • Peripheral iridotomy
  • YAG laser capsulotomy
  • Laser treatment for selected diabetic eye conditions

General Ophthalmology
